Who am i?..... Julia Sidell, Dog photographer!
I'm hoping you're here because you want some cool artwork of your dog? If not, maybe you're just having a nosy at some dog photos. Either way, welcome and I hope you like my galleries.
Firstly I just want to say that I completely understand how daunting it is researching photographers and finding someone to take images that you love and want to show off on your walls at home. It's an investment - both financially and emotionally. I hope you do take the time and pick the photographer who is right for you and your dog.
I have two dogs - fur babies if you like. My husband says I feed them better than I feed him. Well, I guess sometimes I do. Tough luck hubby! Gerry is my ever faithful black Labrador. He's handsome and he knows it. He's 12 years old and i've had him since he was 18 months. He kind of ignores any instructions from my husband and only listens to me. He's also very greedy and will do anything for the smallest crumb - which is handy when I need a photography model!
My other dog is a cocker spaniel called Bob. He very much has his own agenda. He does what he wants and is incredibly stubborn. He's 11 years old but has the energy of a 2 year old. He's a foodie too, but tennis balls are his big thing. He is incredibly loving, enjoying a snuggle on the sofa and would happily sleep on our bed every night if I let him (he's usually too dirty and smelly from walkies).
My other great loves are my husband Chris, my two-year-old Zach and baby Rowan :-D

I've been photographing family and friends' dogs for years, whilst working full time as a picture editor. I've worked in the photography industry for about 17 years so I understand the need for good photography and how daunting it is paying for it! I could babble on about me and what I like or dislike, heck I could even throw in a quiz, but hopefully you love my galleries and i'll be speaking to you soon for a pre-shoot chat!
