A photoshoot?

This is the time to get excited :-D
During a shoot
We will either meet at my studio location near Alford, or a prearranged outdoors location and take lots of photos while your dog has an absolute blast of a time! Shoots normally take about an hour.
After the shoot
Once the shoot is finished i will edit your photos and we will book your purchasing appointment. This will take place on Zoom roughly a week after your photo session.
What about our lovely, but unpredictable Scottish weather?
If you have booked a studio session, this will generally not be a concern. Having said that, we sometimes get lots of snow! Extreme weather is something that would be discussed before the shoot as soon as the situation is clear as i would never expect some one to drive on unsafe roads. For outdoor shoots we could reschedule if heavy rain, strong winds, heatwaves and thunder/lightning are forecast.
I'm worried my dog won't behave..
DO NOT WORRY!! Even the best trained dogs forget commands in new environments. If you feel more comfortable with your dog on a lead, that's not a problem, i can work some Photoshop wizardry to remove it during the edit.
Do I need to bring anything?
lots of treats or a favourite toy would be really handy. I do have some that i carry just in case but i know you may like to choose what treats are best for your dog. I will bring water for your dog and a few refreshments for the humans.
How long will the photoshoot last?
In total you will probably be with me for about an hour. I won't be taking photos for all of this time as i will keep stopping to let your dog have time out.
What do I get from the shoot?
Some amazing art for your wall! A selection of images from the shoot will be fully edited and shown to you during your purchasing session. You should have received a copy of our price menu detailing the artwork available.
Can I buy digital files?
Digital files are available with some collections or as an extra alongside artwork. I may also post watermarked versions on social media for you to see.
What if I need to cancel?
My cancellation policy will be outlined in the documents sent to you before the shoot. In short, providing you give 5 working days notice, cancelling is not a problem. If you or your dog are ill and only let me know on the day of the shoot, we can switch the date but it can not be cancelled.
Where will I see my edited images?
We will arrange an online Zoom appointment so that you can purchase your artwork.
How can I pay?
I will email you an invoice with a link to click and pay. Your photo session is not confirmed until the session fee has been paid.
